Losing your lens caps may seem menial in terms of cost wise but it’s probably something that you would want least to lose. So what do you do when you misplace your lens cap? Look how Belgian photographer, Frans Leys ingeniously rectifies the problem when he lost his for his Nikon 18-300mm: Nutella lids!
Who knew? Apart from sealing a perfect can of yummy hazelnut spread, Nutella lids can double as lens caps. I suppose twas out of frustration that he found the cap from his 220g jar of Nutella to be a perfect fit. Genius.
What have you used as a missing lens cap replacement?
