1953’de ülkemizde Yugoslavya’da oynanan maçlarla oyun sistemimiz değiştirilmeye başlanmış ve 1956’da ilk defa Dünya şampiyonasına katılarak Dünya voleybolu hakkında, kurallar konusunda bilgi sahibi olunmuştur.
