Best Mobile Postpaid Plan in Malaysia 2016

Updated : July 2016

The state of telephony and Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia has been evolving. After all, it is only in the recent years that we are presented with smart mobile devices, and then tablets which could surf the net well, while not breaking the various sites we visit.

Also, with the advent of 3G technology in Malaysia and the emergence of DiGi and followed by U Mobile, which rocked the telecommunications industry with their competitive pricing and catchy ads, have made it so much easier to being online and browse the internet via your phone.

If you are looking to understand the various iPhone plans in Malaysia, perhaps you might want to check out our other article here.

The problem now that if you are have a smart phone, you would have noticed that it is indeed not wise to go without a data plan. It would only mean scurrying around for WiFi signals at public places when you are out, while missing out on important messages and emails, or having to resort the costly sms service here in Malaysia. In comparison, having a data plan enables friends, family and acquaintances to send things like voice messages, maps, directions and even bank details on the go, making you mobile and efficient.

The Confusing State of Mobile Postpaid Plans in Malaysia

However, Mobile Postpaid Plans in Malaysia are a mixed bag, with various providers turning out a spectrum of packages, that at times can be confusing to the end-user. In addition to new plans being churned out a different times by the operators, the postpaid plans in Malaysia can be quite costly, depending on your take home pay. In comparison, postpaid plans in places like UK and US are more affordable, if we calculate them on the percentage of the take home income basis.

Here is where we as DigitalDestiny would like to help you. In order to gain the most out of your Mobile Postpaid plan here in Malaysia, we will present you a breakdown of the various postpaid plans in Malaysia and the best value for money depending on your needs.

For starters, we won’t be reviewing iPhone postpaid plans, which comes with the iPhone when you purchase those on contract with the various operators. That comes in our regularly updated post on postpaid iPhone plans.

We have also decided not to include sms plans into the comparison, as sms, together with mms, are becoming more irrelevant as we speak, as smart phone sales continue to rise and gain majority marketshare worldwide. 1 However, sms might be here to stay for the next few years, as the senior citizens in Malaysia slowly switch over their feature phones to smart phones.

Before we continue, please find the comparison table between the various telco operators in Malaysia. We have included the big three players (Celcom, DiGi & Maxis), and the upstart, U Mobile. In creating this comparison table, we are surprised ourselves with how much the landscape of Mobile Postpaid Plans in Malaysia has changed.

We have separated the top-up rates for data in this update. This will make it easier for you to browse the strengths and weaknesses of each postpaid plan.

Best Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia for Voice

postpaid plans 3

In this issue of best postpaid plan for voice, we have all of our four operators offering unlimited talk time, compared to two previously. U Mobile graciously jumped into the fray with their U Mobile Hero P70 plan, which gives the most amount of data as well.

This makes it really interesting as U Mobile isn’t known for their wide coverage. But U Mobile excels in major towns and does the job well if you do not need to travel often.

DiGi changed their SmartPlan 65 and 75 to the Postpaid 68 and 78, while offering the same package as before. They however, added at Postpaid 80 voice plan, which gives you an amazing 10GB of data and unlimited talk time.

Let us look at the entry point for each of our competitor below and assess their strengths and weaknesses.

  • U Mobile Hero P70 – Unlimited talk time, 7GB data – RM 70
  • U Mobile Hero P98 – Unlimited talk time, 7GB data – RM 98
  • Celcom First Gold – Unlimited talk time, 5GB data – RM 80
  • DiGi Postpaid 68 – Unlimited talk time, 3GB data – RM 68
  • DiGi Postpaid 78 – Unlimited talk time, 7GB data – RM 78
  • DiGi Postpaid 80 – Unlimited talk time, 10GB data – RM 80
  • MaxisOne Plan 98 – Unlimited talk time, 5GB data – RM 98

While its competitors had unlimited talk time for awhile, Celcom chose to wait. However, they are now in the game with the Celcom First Gold. While it was clear that MaxisOne Plan 98 was the best in June 2015, it is no longer the case anymore. With Maxis rapidly losing customers, they adjusted the amount of data offered, but only changed it from 1GB to 4GB.

  • Maxis – D

a) Best for the person in town who rarely travels outstation.

While U Mobile is working hard on their offerings, the U Mobile Hero P70 is a killer offering, valid until U Mobile decides to discontinue it in the future. With the Hero P70, U Mobile jumps right in the middle of the DiGi and Maxis feud and beats both of them in terms of value.

7GB of data is a good amount. And if you stay in major towns like Georgetown, Ipoh, Kota Bahru, Johor Bahru and the likes, U Mobile is the best for you. And you could always purchase a prepaid if you travel outstation.

b) Best for the outstation person or the salesman who needs to visit outstation customers regularly

If you live on the outskirts of town, or out of U Mobile’s coverage, Celcom is now the plan to go with. With the Celcom First Gold, you get unlimited talk time, easy top ups and best coverage. Maxis, which held the title, sadly lost it as they kept up their expensive prices and still measly bandwidth allocation.

c) Where does DiGi stand?

DiGi has significantly improved over the last few months. So much that I cancelled my DiGi iPhone contract in order to subscribe to the SmartPlan 65 and then 75. However, automatically switching my from the SmartPlan 75 to the DiGi Postpaid 78, wasn’t very nice of DiGi.

DiGi comes with better coverage than U Mobile for just a fraction of the price. However, if you’re going to East Malaysia, DiGi’s lack of 3G/4G coverage is still frustrating.

Best Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia for Coverage

Best Postpaid Plans Malaysia

If you happen to travel out of Klang Valley on a regular basis, you might prefer Celcom, who still has the best 3G coverage in Malaysia. In comparison, while U Mobile has expanded their coverage range, it is still lagging behind the three other players. However, having taken a look at U Mobile’s coverage map, we are impressed with the 3G coverage for smaller towns like Taiping, Tanah Rata and even Tuaran in Sabah.

We have noticed that DiGi has made the effort to improve their 3G/4G LTE coverage areas by quite a fair bit. In the latest DiGi coverage map, DiGi now has better 3G coverage of East Malaysia, though Celcom still leads it by a fair bit.

Best Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia for heavy surfers

Since our last update, there has been a lot of changes. For data itself, U Mobile wins with Hero P70 with 7GB at RM 70 per month and unlimited talk time plan. However, U Mobile’s top up plans are atrocious and can cost you more than you bargain, especially if you hit 7GB easily.

U Mobile also wins if you are a heavy surfer and would like a lot of data. They now offer 30GB of data for their U Mobile Hero P98 plan. In comparison, Maxis only offers 20GB of data at their MaxisOne Plan 188.

DiGi’s time limited Postpaid 78 gives us 7GB of data as well, but with slightly better top up options. The best would still be Celcom First Gold with their 5GB plan and 5GB free on weekends. While they start off with less data, Celcom allows you to easily top up your data if you run out.

While Maxis has shown improvements over their current postpaid plans, offering 4GB more for their cheapest plan (MaxisOne Plan 98), isn’t that fantastic compared to their rivals. Unless Maxis improves, subscribers who do their research, might just switch over to others.

Best Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia below RM 100

We have much better choices nowadays. For below RM 100, we would personally go with either DiGi Postpaid 68 and unlimited talk time for their slightly better top up plans, or Celcom’s First Gold for their unlimited talk time with better top ups. If you’re a heavy user, you should go with Celcom though.

Best Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia on a budget

If you a student or have a budget constraint, you might want to consider U Mobile’s Hero Postpaid U28 plan, which gives you 3GB of data and a slightly pricier charge of 20 sen/min for off network calls (meaning U Mobile to other operators). This would enable you to save on sending out smses and get unto the data plan bandwagon.

With a compelling Hero P70 plan, U Mobile ensures that you don’t have to switch out of U Mobile but keep staying on with the best provider for budget users within major towns. If you don’t need the extra data, DiGi’s Postpaid 68 might be an even better deal. Otherwise, add RM 10 and you can consider both the U Mobile Hero P70 plan or the DiGi Postpaid 78.

Biggest Mobile Postpaid Plan Improvement

Since our last update in February 2016, we have seen Maxis improving the data allocation for their postpaid plans. However, they are still too expensive when compared to their rivals.

DiGi reduced the prices for their voice-focused postpaid plans, while offering a whopping 25GB for their top-tiered DiGi Postpaid 218. U Mobile however continues to astound us with their bold plans. They recently launched a crazy deal called the U Mobile Hero Postpaid 98, which bundles 30GB data with unlimited talk time.

Biggest Downgrading Of Plans

We do not have issues with plans being downgraded this time around. Rather, we are excited that Malaysians will have affordable plans to decide upon

Biggest Disappointment

We’re disappointed by Maxis’ lack of initiative. While the rest of the telcos are offering better plans at lower price and higher bandwidth, Maxis continues to keep their prices up. As telecommunications improve, it becomes cheaper to send more data over a similar bandwidth. This is due to better compression algorithms and better processors. As such, we do hope Maxis wakes up from their slumber.

Which Mobile Postpaid plan in Malaysia should I consider?

unsure

It seems that Malaysian Telco Operators have differentiated their offerings, with each focusing on a different niche, to gain the most out of their respective segments.

Final Rating for Celcom

If you’re looking for something you can rely on and not get frustrated with, we believe Celcom has hit the right spots. While they still offer less bandwidth at more expensive prices than their competitors, the easy top up options and an entry level Celcom First Blue, makes us give them a great rating of A

Overall Rating : A

Final Rating for DiGi

DiGi responded to U Mobile and consumers by coming out with the Postpaid 68 and 78, the cheapest unlimited talk time plan in Malaysia.  While we love DiGi, their lack of 3G/4G coverage for East Malaysia and troublesome top up options gives them only a B+

Overall Rating : B+

Final Rating for Maxis

Maxis’ latest plans are good for those who travel outstation and need to call often. But at RM 98, we urge Maxis to offer more data to their customers, as U Mobile offers 30GB of data and unlimited talktime at the same price.

Perhaps a 10GB would be better than a gimmicky RM 48 for extra lines and additional 5GB of data to the data pool. Though Maxis improved their Spotify quota to 15GB, the question is, how many people actually use that much of Spotify? [^3]

Rather DiGi’s offer of unlimited WhatsApp and WeChat would be more practical. Perhaps Maxis could do unlimited Facebook Chat, Facebook and SnapChat?

Overall Rating : D

Final Rating for U Mobile

While great for people on a budget, and having the best download speed among all telco operators 4, U Mobile’s tough position of starting later in the industry weighs heavily on its coverage and the price of its voice plans/min. However, with the frustrating limited additional internet at RM 10 for 1.5GB for only 3 days and the limited coverage, U Mobile needs to tweak their packages to be the best postpaid plan in Malaysia that we could so readily encourage others to purchase.

Currently though, we would recommend people to start their Mobile Postpaid plans with U Mobile. And with the generous U Mobile Hero P70 and P98 plan running, switch over as soon as possible.

Overall Rating : A

Conclusion of the Best Mobile Postpaid Plan in Malaysia

best postpaid plans Malaysia

We call it a tie between Celcom and U Mobile. While U Mobile is cheaper, Celcom has better coverage and better top up options. But both are very viable options.

  1. U Mobile is great and all but I still have my doubts on their line and stability and their 3GB is expensive. Maxis rates are a turn off. It’ll be between DiGi and Celcom. Pricing and coverage wise, I’ll give it to Celcom. As for DiGI, it has more free calls. Oh I’m talking about 3GB btw. So yeah, Celcom would get my nod.

  2. just want to clarify abt the maxis limitless call..correct me if i am wrong coz it’s not free..it is capped at 3000 mins/SMS right???

  3. celcom first basic 38 allows to carried unfinished data to next month. The speed is also at lte /4g.. therefore i think is a value bundled. it give 3gb data+3gb wifi+free 50 mins (to all telco) + free 50 sms= $38

    • hi leo, currently i am subscribed to surfmore 75. should i move over to celcom first basic 38.likewise you mentioned , if i wrongly moved over.. there is no turning back to surfmore 75. please advice

      • Hey Philip! It depends on what you need. As Celcom Basic 38 comes with only 3GB and the price per GB is RM 15, it’ll be RM 68 for you to have 5GB of data. Even so, price per calls on the Surfmore 75 plan is better (12 cents vs 15 cents) than Celcom. Unless you don’t need that much of data, stick with Maxis. I believe more telco providers will try to monetise their data plans (like DiGi and Celcom), making people top-up in order to get more quota. However, that is a bad move. Rather, they should offer generous data and good services in order to obtain more market share and loyal customers 🙂

        • Hi Leo,
          Thanks for the advice.
IMHO, firstly I’m taking into consideration sometimes do need to make a few simple calls. By using surfmore 75,i calculated monthly billed would be around RM 90 ++ vs celcom 38 estimate to RM40++ (inclusive GST) or could go below RM 38 billing ( 5% rebate entitle if pay by auto debit). Then the 15 cents calls charges will have no impact if call less than 50 min whereas every call on surfmore 75 will at least start with 12 cents adding to the billing of RM75.
Lastly, the celcom allow data to be carry forward, therefore could be say i can have 6gb data on every new cycle month. My data usage is rather fluctuate. for example, may not be always surting or working in kopitiam .

    • Thanks Dexter. It’s subjective on what you need. But if you’re on a budget, 38 ringgit for Celcom Basic 38 is worth it. The generous 3GB is a winner for us. For myself, I sometimes burn through 5GB by the middle of the month due to me working on my laptop in kopitiams 🙁

  4. Hi guys. I’ve subscribed to Celcom First38 in early June. I find it’s 4G were not stable compared to my Maxis. Celcom voice quality also dropped as back in 2013, I hv tried on their x-pax. I call my wife while I was in lift from 10th floor down all the way to my carpark. No line drop & we stay connected.

But now I tried again the same thing, Celcom First38 line dropped!! I noticed quality of celcom were not as good or nothing to shout about.

True, I opted for First38 bcos of their 3gb & RM38 for my Tab S. Now I just hope that Celcom will improved as I read from my fb that TM messed up their towers / lines setting recently.

    • Hey Tan!

Try calling Celcom as they might be doing some servicing. Also, all telcos have blind spots in the city. Like my Digi line tends to lose signal when I’m in a certain place in Sunway.

  5. Digi data is the worse in sarawak…no 4G sometimes phone call could not call out…
maxis..the most expensive one with limited 4G coverage…so u should know which is the best…..i have used all these mobiles provider..

    • Will do! 🙂 Currently working on a few other articles first. Without Celcom 38, Celcom’s offering becomes significantly weaker 🙁

  6. I’m lose my way to get a new and better plan right now. Currently I using digi plan rm88.
I would like to change. Any best advise out there?

    • Thanks, but they don’t seem to be a mainstream Telco provider. Rather, one that rents telco stations from Digi/Maxis/Celcom 🙂

  7. Hi Leo! I am a student that going to stay in Terengganu next month. I am wondering if Celcom First Basic 38 or U mobile U28 is better. Since the U28 plan is increasing its data from 1GB to 3GB as Merdeka promotion, I am considering the stability and coverage of their 3G or 4G line. Can you give me some suggestions on that?

    • Hey Wai Sheng,

Am not sure about U Mobile’s coverage in Terengganu. I guess you need to find out the location you would be in and see if it is covered. Also, would you be there for long? Celcom’s First Basic 38 has unfortunately been discontinued though they’ve something up for Merdeka. Will get about updating the article soon! 🙂

  8. im considering of 2 postpaid packages which are celcom first48 with 2g carry forward data with widest coverage of 4g lte and umobile u50 with 5g data but limited 4g coverage.im staying at putrajaya.please advice

    • Hey Naz,

I had a look and Celcom’s First One Plan with 3GB of data (due to Celcom having a Merdeka promotion) looks really promising. Do get it before the period ends 🙂 Am getting a new postpaid broadband plan from Celcom myself (7GB day/14GB night, RM 85 under Merdeka pricing), as it is even better than the previous deal!

  9. Hi~ I am a student who is considering both merdeka offers from umobile (3gb rm28) and celcom (3gb rm48). I live near kl’s titiwangsa lake and probably wun go outstation much but need short phone calls once in a while. I am quite worried about the connectivity of Internet for u mobile but budget wise I am quite inclined to that. Could you please advise? >< thanks !

    • Hey Kuah,

If you don’t plan to travel outstation much, perhaps UMobile’s plan would be good for now 🙂 I’m personally going for the 7GB/14GB Celcom postpaid broadband plan at RM 85.

  10. Hi all. Need some help. My maxis plan (contract) will end on 5sept 2015. Currently on principle line ivalue1 apple plan with supplementary plan(rm30+rm48 1gb data). I work in KL, live in Seremban 2. My usage mainly WhatsApp and checking emails and fb. Calling wise 100-200min mixed networks. Wife at home and frequent call to mum and dad (redone) plus data on the go (WhatsApp+fb). Monthly contract value is rm100+rm30+rm48= rm178+gst. Total average monthly bill is rm200-210. Are they any cheaper postpaid or even prepaid plans out there? Do I need to separate the line in order to get the best value?
I also balik kampung in Kuching roughly twice a year. Can tune excel and onexox be the options as well? Tq

    • I believe the iValue plans are value for money. Unless you’re under a tight budget, you won’t go wrong with Maxis as they bundle a good amount of talk time with that plan 🙂

Not sure about tune or onexox, as these are not mainstream telco providers.

  11. Hye, I’m currently working with sales department and I’ll be travelling outstation in Terengganu (Kerteh), Kuantan, Melaka as well as in Labuan. I’m searching for telco that can provide the best postpaid plan with price range below RM100/month. I prefer Umobile but dnt have infos on their coverage and stability. I think only digi’s contract up to one year instead of others, 2 years. pls advise. thanks!

    • Hi Nur,

Celcom’s a good choice due to their easy reload and their generous data package 🙂 Unless you need to call a lot (Maxis), go for Celcom.

  12. Hi Leo..
I’m currently using Umobile prepaid, subscribe to UMI38 plan each time..roughly rm300++ for top up per month..
due to high calls n data usage..

    Considering postpaid from other telco..
    Any suggestions on that?

    Thanks..

    • Sorry Sophia, every since our last update, U Mobile has improved their offering. Why not get the U Mobile P70 postpaid plan? Unlimited talk time and 7GB of data 🙂 The best in town.

  13. u might wanna update this comparison with regards to umobile’s upgraded packages. its u70 now offers 7gb with unlimited calls! could u comment a bit about umobile in terms of coverage and stability

    • Indeed! Updated today 🙂 Not sure about the coverage out of major towns, but you can check with the customer service. If you’re in Klang Valley, U Mobile is very good. And if you don’t travel outstation often, why not get it? You can always purchase a prepaid if you need to travel outstation for a few days.

  14. Migrated recently from Maxis Hotlink Youth Club to UMobile and have no regrets. Coverage in my area OK. Satisfied because it offers 3 GB Internet and I need around 2 to 2.5 GB per month. Cheap. 50 minutes free calls per month.

      • U28 and P70 are good plans. To be on the economical side,U28 really saves a lot. Depends on the way we control our call usage. For me, I can’t finish my 50 minutes free call and on my 3rd month, I am using only 0.3 GB of data for half a month.
So, if one is smart and knows how to capitalize on the free Messaging/Free Calls Apps like WhatsApps, Telegram, U28 is more than sufficient.
If you are a heavy caller, and can’t stop calling, P70 will no doubt be the first choice.
U28 spending in 5 months is equivalent to P70 in 2 months.

  15. You might want to update the Digi smartplan. They are now among the most affordable data plans: smart plan 78 offers 3GB and 98 offers 4GB.

    • Thanks Daniel, but the details of the DiGi plans are already in the table since our last update. Do check out the table before commenting yea. And DiGi has gotten worse compared to their previous update. Celcom and U Mobile are better. 🙂

      • Oh my bad. I thought I saw 1GB only in the smartplan 78. Anyways MaxisOne is the most expensive coz $98 plan only gives you 1 GB.

CELCOM and UMobile are cheaper but how about their connection quality in klang valley? Which telco has the best connection quality?

        • Hey Daniel,

Celcom and U Mobile are good for Klang Valley 🙂 If you read our article, Celcom has the best connection nationwide, while U Mobile is good for major towns.

          • Hope UMobile can come out a cheaper plan for housewives and senior citizens. Those with smart phones and do not engage to much on calls but just to make sure that they are constantly reachable by WhatsApps/WeChat messaging and calls.
I propose U15 perhaps with only 1 GB of data ( more than enough) and 50 minutes of free calls. 50 SMS to UMobile and 50 SMS to other operators.
My usage is always around 10
SMS per month. It is such a waste.
Hope,UMobile can take note of this .

          • RM 15 for a postpaid plan might be a little too low for companies like U Mobile to survive 🙂 If anything, just go for the lowest tiered plan of any provider.

  16. Hey Leo, Thanks for such detail article. Really helps out a lot. Been trying to sort out the most suitable plan for days and finally found your article and the decision is made in just secs after reading your article. Been using DiGi for 10 years and it’s time to move on to U Mobile’s P70 since their network servicing is not being improved well 🙁 sigh Thanks again Leo 🙂

  17. hye there leo…. any comment on the new Digi 65 Plan… im considering to taking the postpaid since its offering unlimited calls to any network and 3gb data… currently im on celcom prepaid but the service now worsening and im in sarawak… thanks

    • Hi Tom,

Just saw it 🙂 I don’t think it will be good as reception for DiGi isn’t very good in East Malaysia, except in certain portions of town.

  18. Hi Leo,

Good article there! I am currently on DG88 plan. I would like to switch to other telcos and would like to seek your opinions. I am keen on data first and then followed by calls.

    I am staying in Perak.

    Any recommendations?

  19. Hi, im stay in klang valley , please advise if im heavy use in surf, is it recommended Umobile P70? To match my iphone6, 4G coverage is it good enough in my area?

    • Hey James,

Best to check with U Mobile for their coverage area. But for RM 70 with unlimited talk time and 7GB of data, U Mobile is definitely hard to beat!

  20. Hi Leo, I’m staying Penang currently using maxis surfmore plan rm50 with provide 2gb data but with no free call and sms. i’m currenly considering celcom merdeka first one plan and digi rm68 promotion plan. Which telcos have more stable 4G in Penang?

  21. Hey man I been wondering your great informative blog.
I am considering to get the Digi Smart Plan 50 More calls plan with an Iphone 6S Plus on 12 months contract because I think this is the cheapest and affordable plan so far.
I am not using data a lot anyways.

But I still wonder on the 400 minutes that’s included in the plan.
Will this applicable to all networks or just Digi-Digi only?
I have browse through their FAQs but seems to have not come to any answer to my queries.

Hope you can advise me on that.

    Thanks!

    Great blog anyways.

  22. Need some feedback on which plan to go for. Im a heavy data user, a few years back i used streamyx but i stop the subscription since the time i spent at home is quite limited because of my job.

I work as an auditor hence move from one client to another on a regular basis. Recently got myself a dual sim phone which now im surveying a combination of data plan that can give me the best data quota. Need your input on this.

Currently have digi family plan for phone call, maxis poweruser broadband for data. And recently got myself the maxis magic sim. Here are some of the combination if i were to only use 2 plans. Using unifi cost as threshold since i view it as a mobile version of the fixed line for my usage

    1) magic sim+ maxis broadband.
I live in bandar baru bangi and celcom connection seems pretty good here. So the rm 25 magic sim covers the heavy download part. While the rm 158 12 gb maxis broadband covers the peak period data when im working. The pros of this combo seems to be good coverage for network. Because from my googling, it seems that maxis and celcom have the widest coverage for 3g or 4g. I can also opt for cheaper maxis data so that i can alocate more peak data for the magic sim so that the two network are more or less balance outin term of peak data. The cons seems to be that peak period data quota is not the best and it is the most expensive combo. The offpeak data for maxis also will go to waste sometimes

    2) magic sim rm58+digi 20gb quota all day long.
Magic sim covers the heavy lifting and digi covers peak period data. Pros. If i reload the rm58 magic sim + the digi, it will give me decent peak data quota. Cons: people said digi dont have decent coverage. Not sure how true is that. At least in kl, selangor, and sungai petani, the speed is acceptable. Theoretically, magic sim could cover when digi network are not good.

    3) magic sim only
For the price of the maxis rm 158 plan, i could just keep toping up the magic sim which give similiar peak data quota but unlimited offpeak data. Hence the convenience of 1 telco. But if the telco fail in certain place than theres nothing much i can do.

Which combo should i take? Personally i like the second option the most. Im open to other ideas too

  23. I am a Singaporean and bought a condo at Country Garden, I went in to JB 1-2 times a week.
Thinking of getting a mobile postpaid line and this article is good enough for me to understand which company should I sign.

  24. thanks for the heads up..been planning to change my telco..seems celcom is abit overprice in some areas.i think its about time to give a chance at the underdog 🙂

  25. I was wondering what would you recommend. I live around KL and I’m quite a heavy user. Any recommendations on the best mix of Internet speed and coverage?

  26. I am considering to switch to UMobile from Maxis. However, I’m not sure on it’s coverage and stability of UMobile line. I live in KL and travel frequently back to hometown in Seremban. I’m currently using Maxis One Plan with One Sub line for my mum of RM48 Maxis Share. I’m using TIME at my KL’s apartment. Any recommendations on the switching?

  27. I had to agree with your statement regarding “Maxis’ lack of initiative”. During the good old day Maxis once a better choice for youth user. Now it rather a plan who target no one.

Got an idea? =) Drop us your thought here
